About Hes Berry Blazin - Troy

Hes Berry Blazin is Sundancer's 2009 Palomino Stallion, bought as a yearling at the 2010 Reichert Sale.
  • His sire is the legendary Blazin Hot
  • His dam is the legendary Ms Strawberry Walker, who at 26 years old, has now retired from breeding
    (Hes Berry Blazin is the only one of her sons to have remained a stud).

Since moving to Arizona in September 2010 Hes Berry Blazin has been in training with Robert Smith of RJS Quarter Horses and Paints.  His barn name is Troy and he currently stands at 15 hands 3 inches high (as of November 2012).

Here are Hes Berry Blazin's achievements to date are:

  • He was 2011 PHBA Reserve World Champion 2 Year old Western Pleasure
  • He was Reserve Champion in the 2011 Reichert Celebration 2 Year old Color Stakes
  • He was placed 3rd out of 10 in the 2011 Color Breed Congress 2 Year old Western Pleasure
  • He was 2011 Reserve Champion Junior Western Pleasure
  • He was 2012 Junior Champion in the AQHA Southern Arizona Championship after receiving 7 first places
  • He is the top ranked PBHA horse in Arizona
  • He was placed in the top 5 in the 3 Year Old Western Pleasure class at the 2012 Palomino World Show 
Hes Berry Blazin was featured on the front cover of the October 2011 Palomino Horse magazine and he was featured in the July 2012 Palomino Horse magazine where he was again on the front cover. He was also featured in the Chronicle in the August edition.  

On Christmas Day 2012 Hes Berry Blazin left Sundancer for his new home with Cooper Quarter Horses in Georgia to stand at stud.  We wish him all the best in his new career.
